The usual scientific seminar was conducted in the Scientific-Analytical Center of Constitutional Economics of the YSU Faculty of Economics and Management by PhD Professor Ruben Gevorgyan.

The role of institutions in economic development was addressed at the beginning of the seminar.

It was mentioned that long-term work is needed to change the quality of institutions and behavior of people. Changing public attitudes towards formal institutions enables carry out reforms of institutions and individuals’ behavioral prerequisites.

In the context of the discussion of the program fundamentals of the socio-economic development of the RA, the professor highlighted the important institutional issues facing the Armenian economy, as several provisions that should contain (or may not contain objective, no matter how tempting it may be) comprehensive program of institutional reform.
