CLUSTERING IN I-M-T MODEL FORMAT PART 1

Amasia Ghazaryan (scientific supervisor, associate professor R. Avetisyan) reported at the usual scientific seminar of Economics Scientific-Analytical Center of Yerevan State University. The theme of the seminar was "Clustering in I-M-T Model Format".

When describing the process of clustering, it should be taken into account that each cluster is a consumer, with its preferences.

We distinguish an absolute clustering when the coefficients are defined in advance and relative cluster, coefficients are determined during the process.

During the seminar, the speaker presented the model on the example.

To provide an I-M-T model description, you need to consider the following points:

1.The model is considered by the consumer as a pre-selection stage;
2.Purchases goods with a significant share of weight in the consumer budget.

It is worth mentioning that the model has a useful function and budgetary limitation, and the budgetary limitation is the buyer's subjective assessment of its assets and expected costs.

During the study of the I-M-T model, the speaker also underlined that in this model the consumer has certain preferences relating to both the characteristics features of the object and the attributes contained in the model.
