SOME METHODS FOR CLASSIFICATION OF DISCRETE VARIABLES

The regular seminar of the Scientific Analytical Centre of Constitutional Economics of YSU was devoted to the study some methods of classifying discrete variables. During the seminar professor Ruben Gevorgyan made a report.

The first part of the seminar was devoted to the investigation of objects cognition and classification methods. It was noted that those are widely used in different spheres of science.

With the help of discrete modeling methods, a variety of studies are conducted, which aim to classify different objects and assess their significance.

During the workshop, several approaches were proposed on cognition, classification and management of objects.

The speaker mentioned that the known methods based on diagnostic tests and deadlock tests do not always give a chance to solve practical tasks.

Particularly, there are a number of problems in constitutional economics, where the marks accept more than 2 values.

The speaker suggested solving these tasks through the “matrix coincidences”.

The seminar ended with question-discussions.
